Wadswick Green in Corsham is celebrating after The Greenhouse restaurant was awarded Gold status in the prestigious Taste of the West Hospitality & Retail Awards 2026.
The award recognises the high standards of food, service and hospitality at The Greenhouse, with judges praising the restaurant’s commitment to quality, its welcoming atmosphere and its use of local and regional suppliers.
During their visit, the Taste of the West judges enjoyed The Greenhouse’s Sunday lunch menu, which offers a choice of traditional roast beef, chicken and pork alongside dishes including risotto, ravioli and bream.

The judges were impressed by the service and atmosphere at The Greenhouse. Staff were described as friendly, welcoming and attentive, while the restaurant was praised for its “convivial atmosphere”, clean and fresh décor and spotless facilities. The judges also noted the warm relationship between staff and owners.
The Greenhouse’s approach to local sourcing was another key feature of the assessment. The restaurant’s menus highlight a number of suppliers, including Lacock Dairy, which supplies ice cream and sorbets, while meat and vegetable suppliers are based in the South West. The judges welcomed the restaurant’s commitment to reducing food miles and using produce from its own kitchen garden and allotments.
