This grassroots community led festival returns for its second year; from 30th May until 30thJune
The festival is a celebration of nature and community; whilst drawing attention to the pressure on the river (the Bristol River Avon) from climate change, loss of nature and other human impacts such as pollution.
The communities involved are all connected by the river and its tributaries.
Last year’s festival originated with a network of town and parish councils and nature groups mainly between Bradford on Avon and Batheaston, along with Box, Colerne and Frome.
This year new communities join with events in towns and villages including Chippenham, Midsomer Norton and Wingfield.
The festival is honoured to again have events being hosted by Wessex Water and the Wiltshire Music Centre.
