Don’t miss…

The BoA Green Man Festival has something for everyone – so dress up for the day and really get into the swing of things.
Wake up Jack & Jill in the Green – Tithe Barn – 9.30am
Help us make lots of noise to wake Jack and Jill up from their yearlong slumber. Bathampton Morris Men and Armaleggan will perform the festival’s opening dances, and Ragged & Old Mummers will perform their short but amusing Mummer’s play.
Jill in the green Secret bower – Tithe Barn Workshops – 2pm
Children are invited to meet Jill in her secret bower at the Tithe Barn workshops. She’ll also host local dance groups with appearances by hobby horses and beasts. You can watch events unfold from the lovely new Vixey’s Cafe.
Closing Parade – Riverside Park & Tithe Barn – 5pm
You’ll not want to miss this spectacle as Jack and Jill, hundreds of dancers, beasts and bands join in a closing parade. Join a mass circle dance to speed Jack and Jill on their way.
Stripping Jack – Tithe Barn – 5.45pm
This is a tradition where everyone strips Jack of his greenery. Keep your leaves safe to ensure we have a good summer.
